Phase I: gutting

So a few hrs of tacking this shyt we made great progress! We removed the dash ,heater core all hvac and a/c components, plastic panels , p/s (just have to loop lines) , rear window washer resivor and lines, rear window wiper blades and motor, front wiper blade and motor, carpet , head liner , and fuel pump assembly for cleaning and fitting

Quest for 9s begins

For those who dont know ive got my shell. 1991 eagle talon awd. Slowly working towards getting this car finished by summer/fall. So far im almost done with the fuel system and the gutting the car. I hope the car will weigh 2700lbs with me n a full tank of e85

This is a video that some may have and may not have seen its me vs a e36 bmw with a 6262pte running 20-22 psi. I got locked out of 3rd gear THREE times and caught up at the top of 3rd and passed him bay about a car at the top of 4th. that race was 2 close to call. if i was to guess his car was making anywhee from 450-475 rwhp my car was dialed in at 512 awhp but that nite had complications. enjoy! (im right lane finish line is the bridge).

first and formost congrats again to Ghost who is now mr.Ghost haha. thanks Mikel and Andrew for keeping the site going after a flat line. For those who check the site and have read my bio im no longer keeping my car. this time im serious. its already started to part it out. it was a seriously long journey… the longest ive ever owned a single car (2yrs) and the most fun and headache ive ever had with one. 2 clutch ,3 tasmissions 1 set of tires, multiple exhaust tickets, 2 alternators , 2 fuel pumps , countless man hrs of labor, countless hrs and late nites of tuning and learning, and 2 starters i realize its become a cancer to my pockets. Not in the sense its not worth it , but that i cant afford to keep it or get it to were i want it to be, and considered the modifications too much for me to have it run any slower than it has. The car topped out at 513hp @ 7.8k rpm on 93 oct, 29-30psi. Fuel pump leaned it out by far not safe. But i had fun. driving a 500 hp car is def a thrill . Lighting up all 4 tires in 2nd gear amazing. and saying that i dont think anyone in my crew will hit that mark again soon (please guys prove me wrong) is defiantly an achievement. the next time i hit the road it will b bigger then a 3ltr engine. lol i=I’m aiming for a g35 or a ls2 gto. we will see. for now im done tuning (as Gotooning) it’ll be a hobby and a favor to my friends.

So this tranny rebuild is taking ALOT longer than i expected! mainly money probs. i when to jacktransmissions.com for an idea on all the parts i would need to rebuild the tranny to a shep stage 3 specs with double syncro 2nd-5th gears evo3 gear ratios ect ect. now with out a 4 spyder diff it was already costing me 950 not including shipping… add 400 for the 4 spyder diff. still cheaper than a shep but still very expensive! Now on to the good news! i found a shep stage 3 tranny for an undisclosed price lets say a lot cheaper than the gears with out shipping!. Only problem is that its a 1990 tranny the only non upward compatible tranny dsm’s have . so were swapping the internals and we will be good to go!
By the way for people wondering what on earth i broke it was a 3-4th gear gear selector (hence me not having 3rd and 4th gear, bad 2-3-5 gear, bad 1-2, 3-4, hub and 2-5 sycros…. yea tell me about it.

Phase I: tranny rebuild

For those who dont know, dsm trannys SUCK BALLS! and im too broke to get anything that cost too much. So tomorrow im driving the car to LI using only 1st 2nd and 5th gear maybe reverse haha to kadeems house pull the tranny out get it to heavy so he can open it and rebuild it. Once thats done ill be back in action doing a street tune for 28psi the a track/race tune with a progressive boost raise from 28 to 32 by 8k rpm and then maybe if i can afford race gas a tune on 32 psi or more we will see stay tuned.

This guy (Joshua Gray ) puts alot of us to shame!! Including me!. lol. i mean literaly its been no time since his fire with the last dsm to put ting shit in his new dsm . Im just going to post his mod list and a few pics and the link to his build thread so check it out!

Well that nite i blew my tranny…

Ok soooo the quest for the 400 mark has been long over due on my car…. so you can check my bio (1050cc, hks 272, speed density, fp 4inch intake, ets race fmic with s.s piping. blah blah blah read the bio)for info on the car. The turbo im running is a 6165S pte. Now to give you an idea think of a 6262sp. A 6165S has a bigger back wheel to compensate for the lack of ball bearing. I was shocked! at the the spool up 25psi by 51XXrpm! That’s ball bearing territory . It’s always good to know a few tricks and how a turbo works, it is essential plus the 3port boost controller solenoid (controlled by the ecu) helps alot! Seriously shout out all the people on evolutionm.net who made the ecu able to do what is does.

Gotooning

the blue is the final tune for 25psi look at how much i smooth the power band out.
The car redlines at 8k so it may dam well be able to creep to 450 by redline. and it running rich hehe.
